The A I Confederation of SC/ST Organisations held a mammoth rally today at Ramlila Maidan . This is the first rally of this season and huge success shows that there are silent voices in the country and that might not be of media interest. Widening gap in economic , social and governance is dangerous to the unity and integrity of the country. This is a unique rally which has participation from all over the country . Dalits and OBCs are being further pushed to the periphery and there is strong discontentment and which got revealed today in the rally .
Dr Udit Raj , chairman of A I Confederation of SC/ST Organisations, popularly known as Parisangh, said that merely living in same land does not make realisation of togetherness. Dalits , Adivasis ( not Vanvasi ) are already excluded from market, financial world , media and many other main streams and privatisation has further marginalised them . Minorities are treated like second grade citizens. Persisting inequality in income & wealth is antagonistic to the unity and integrity of the country . Words can’t make India Vishvaguru till all the citizens are treated with dignity and minimum assured subsistence. Those who are not seeing this reality or not willing to accept it , are selfish and traitors.
Dr Udit Raj further said that currently name changing or naming places , buildings and monuments are in vogue and Mughalsarai has become Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Faizabad to Ayodhya, Sardar Patel Stadium to Narender Modi . Rally unequivocally demanded naming the New Parliament Building as Dr Ambedkar. Telangana Assembly has passed a resolution on 13th September, 22 and urged the Modi Government to name New Parliament Building after Dr B R Ambedkar .
Following demands have been ratified by hugely attended rally .
