Today, hundreds of people gathered at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi under the leadership of Dr. Udit Raj, National Chairman, Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi (DOMA) Parisangh and demonstrated and collectively read the Preamble of the Constitution and after that copy of 'Manusmriti' was burnt to give the message that the country will run by the Constitution and not by Manusmriti. Today's day was chosen because on 25 December 1927, Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar had burnt the Manusmriti. People had slogans like 'Amit Shah – Istifa do', Baba Saheb ke samman me - DOMA Parisangh Maidan men, etc. in their hands.
Dr. Udit Raj, National Chairman, Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi (DOMA) Parisangh, while addressing the demonstration said that the Home Minister, Amit Shah, has insulted Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The country will not tolerate the insult of Dr. Ambedkar on the floor of the Parliament. Amit Shah has not said this in anger or emotionally, but years of hatred is revealed behind it. On 12 December 1949, RSS and Hindu Mahasabha burnt the effigy of Dr. Ambedkar and the copy of the Constitution. He further said that recently in the Parliament, Narendra Modi, JP Nadda, Nirmala Sitharaman etc. have condemned the first constitutional amendment. Years of hatred have emerged again. This constitutional amendment was made to abolish the landlordism and give reservation to Dalits. The hateful statement by Amit Shah came because the first constitutional amendment was made for Dalits, tribals and the poor. If the landlordism had not been abolished, landless Dalits, tribals and the poor would not have been able to get land, this is the main reason for their hatred.
He further said that Rahul Gandhi ji is constantly raising the issue of caste census and BJP does not want to conduct the census by creating various obstacles. Until caste census is done, backward people cannot be uplifted. To avoid caste census, sometimes they create controversy over Muslim reservation and sometimes Hindu-Muslim riots in Sambhal. PM Modi cannot directly oppose caste census, so he keeps making all kinds of excuses. If the slogan of 400 plus had come true, then by now they would have probably changed the constitution. One nation – one election is a conspiracy to weaken the constitution. Nehru hates Gandhi ji because he gave Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar the opportunity to become the chairman of the constitution making committee. He did not stop here but made him the law minister of the country. He also hated the tricolor flag and to attain power, he changes colors like a chameleon, but sometimes what is in his heart comes out on his tongue. Savarkar is revered by him because he wanted to implement Manusmriti in place of the constitution.
