Today, a delegation from Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi Parisangh (DOMA) was going to meet the bereaved family of Sambhal, which was stopped by the police at the UP and Delhi border. The delegation was led by DOMA Parisangh Chairman- Dr. Udit Raj, General Secretary- Mr. Shahid Ali, National Coordinator - Advocate Satish Sansi and Delhi State President A. P. Khan etc. Sambhal administration was informed about this on the evening of 7th December itself. Sambhal Superintendent of Police had issued a letter on the same day to stop it.

A convoy of 30 cars left from 192, North Avenue, MP Flats, New Delhi at around 12 noon today under the leadership of Dr. Udit Raj. As soon as they reached the Ghaziabad border, the heavy police force standing there stopped them. And while stopping them, a notice cancelling the permission on 7th December was served. Before this, a convoy led by Shri Rahul Gandhi was going to meet the bereaved family in Sambhal, it was also stopped.

Dalit, OBC, Minorities and Adivasi Parisangh is a non-political organization. About 100 people were from these sections today, if they had met the victim's family and enquired about their well-being, which government would have been in trouble. It is also not that we are political people and it would have affected the vote bank. The government wants to distract the people of the country from the main issue by showing the fear of Islamophobia. Is it not our duty to meet the victim's family and get information. If this is not the murder of democracy, then what is it? The Constitution is in danger. Attacks on Muslims and Christians have increased and some people's political gains are hidden behind this.

Dr. Udit Raj ji further said that now not only the political parties have to fight but the civil society will have to come forward. When freedom of speech ends or unemployment increases and inflation hits, it affects the common citizen, so how can the DOMA Parisangh remain silent in such a situation.
