1. The pay scale has been announced for temple priests and granthis of Gurudwaras, but why not for the monks and priests of Bauddh Vihar, Valmiki Temple, Ravidas Temple, Kabir Math and Church? In the controversy over the demolition of religious places, Delhi CM, Atishi ji raised the issue of demolition of Bauddh Vihar but did not announce the salary of the monks. They are ahead in taking votes of Dalits by hanging the photo of Dr. Ambedkar but have nothing to give. There are about 314 Bauddh Vihars in Delhi. There are about 150 Valmiki temples and there are also priests of Ravidas Temple, Kabir Math and Church, why was the honorarium not announced for them?
2. Ambedkar Samman Scholarship is an announcement like old wine in a new bottle. Mr. Arvind Kejriwal had announced a similar higher education scholarship for Dalit students before the 2020 assembly elections, but only a few students were able to avail of it. Now it has been relaunched with a new name. He should explain why only ₹25 lakh scholarships have been distributed so far under the 2020 scheme, while the government has spent about ₹5 crore on its promotion in 2020-21.
3. How long will this vote-bank fraud by putting up Dr. Ambedkar's picture continue? What mistake did Dr. Rajendra Pal Gautam, the then Social Welfare Minister, commit, from whom his resignation was taken very cleverly? Dr. Rajendra Pal Gautam's mistake was that he made people accept Dr. Ambedkar's 22 vows and for this his resignation was taken. Why so much hatred for Dr. Ambedkar's idea?
4. What is the reason that 3 ministers from the Dalit community had to resign or were forced to run away and did this happen with a minister from another community? Sandeep Kumar, Rajendra Pal Gautam and Raj Kumar Anand, all three have been social welfare ministers. Do you see fault in them? Making a Dalit a minister was and will remain a compulsion, but is the social welfare ministry the only thing to fulfil the quota? Why were other ministries not given? General category ministers have dozens of departments, why not Dalits?
Dr. Udit Raj ji said that Arvind Kejriwal's anti-Dalit and anti-reservation thinking is nothing new. On August 2, 2008, he had spoken against reservation from the platform of Youth for Equality Forum in Tapti hostel of Jawaharlal Nehru University. He had led Youth for Equality and opposed reservation. They take votes of Dalits in the name of Dr. Ambedkar but hate Dr. Ambedkar's thoughts and Dalits.
